Painted Portraits Unlike Any Other:

Made with love and of the love of you life

More than a memory - a connection you can touch.

When you touch your Preserved in Paint portrait, you're connecting with your companion. Their fur or ashes become part of every brushstroke, creating a physical bridge between memory and present.

This is why clients tell me they find themselves drawn to touch the canvas, finding comfort in moments of reflection.

Receive your museum-quality Legacy Portrait

We believe that portraits of the ones you love are the most valuable art you’ll ever own, meant to be seen and appreciated daily.

Collaborating together with you, we begin with the end in mind. We will discuss which fine art painting type best serve your dreams, as well as your budget, and we’ll work together to design something perfect for you and your home.

Your first step is a call with Kimberly so she can gather a little information about your pet, as well as answer any of your preliminary questions before the next step in your portrait journey

"The portrait of Baron sits in our living room. My children touch it every night before bed, knowing a part of him is truly there. It's not just a painting—it's our way of keeping him in our family's daily life."

Sarah W, Boston

Some say "just a dog." We know different. Your companion saw you through life's pivotal moments—celebrations, heartbreaks, everyday joys. A Legacy Portrait, containing their actual essence, honors that extraordinary bond. Touch the canvas, and feel their presence. This is your love story, captured in brushstrokes and preserved forever.

The Artistic Process

There are many steps to this process, it can be a painting from a portrait we create, a painting from your own photos, a painted portrait with added fur/hair and even cremains. We will explore all the options so you have a full understanding of what is right for you.

When Using Cremains or Fur

We will discuss the best way for you to get the fur and or cremains to us, either in person or delivered.

I take great care of anything you send me. My heart is in each and every painting as if it were my very own pet. If after the painting is finished I will return what is left to you.

My goal is to video journal the making of your portrait and send it to you as I go. I do this so you know your pets portrait and essence is well loved.

Traditional portraits capture appearance. Painterly Portraits capture soul. By incorporating your pet's fur or ashes into museum-quality paint, we create something extraordinary—a portrait you can actually touch and feel, knowing they're truly there. This isn't about saying goodbye. It's about keeping them close.

Stories of Healing

"In my darkest moments, I touch Charlie's portrait. His fur, mixed with the paint, reminds me he's still here. It's become my daily ritual of remembrance." - Emily, Massachusetts

"Max's portrait captures everything—his soul in the eyes, his spirit in every brush stroke, and knowing his fur is actually there... it's priceless." - James, Connecticut

"After losing Sophie suddenly, I was devastated. Her Legacy Portrait, containing her fur, gives me a tangible connection I didn't know I needed. Sometimes I just sit with it, and I feel her presence."

"Dogs do die. But dogs live too. Right up until they die, they live.

They live brave, beautiful lives. They protect their families. And love us. And make our lives a little brighter.

And they don't waste time being afraid of tomorrow."

-Dan Gemeinhart, The Honest Truth

Kimberly Sarah in the Media!

New Hampshire Chronicle

In January 2020 we were thrilled to be on the New Hampshire Chronicle show!

We have worked hard to provide beautiful artwork and an exceptional experience for all of our dogs and their families.

We are honored to have worked with each and every one of them, especially to Jasper and Kable the two pups you will see in the video!

New Hampshire Magazine

February of 2017 marked the first time Kimberly Sarah was on the cover of New Hampshire Magazine with this cute image of Fiona.

"Kim is a magician when it comes to capturing four-legged fur-babies. She is a true animal lover and works tirelessly to get the shot that captures the personality and of course cuteness of each subject. She is always coming up with new ideas for setting and backgrounds and is an ultimate professional. The end product is a work of art that any pet owner would be honored to have hanging on their wall. On top of it all, Kim is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet and is just overall a joy to work with. I highly recommend Kim for capturing your four-legged family member whether it be a new puppy or a long-loved senior. Kim's photo of my puppy Fiona was featured on the cover of New Hampshire Magazine! In short, she's the BEST!"
